The Soupy's Performance ZX-12 Double Style Threaded Lowering Links are adjustable links designed to replace the factory rear suspension linkage on the Kawasaki ZX-12. These steel links feature silver zinc coating for strength and corrosion resistance, with large, 1/2 inch diameter threads and no aluminum threads used. Installation involves removing the rear weight, factory bolts, and stock links before installing the new ones and adjusting to the desired ride height.

The Soupy's Performance ZX-12 Double Style Threaded Lowering Links are designed for the Kawasaki ZX-12 models from 2000-2005. This direct bolt-on kit replaces the factory rear suspension linkage, allowing for a custom ride height adjustment. The links enable the rear of the motorcycle to be lowered up to 4 inches (100 mm) from its factory setting. Constructed from durable steel with a silver zinc coating for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance, these links feature large, 1/2 inch diameter threads, avoiding the use of aluminum threads. The design ensures that stock bolts and nuts can be retained, maintaining the integrity of the locking element. Installation is straightforward: remove weight from the rear of the motorcycle, unbolt the factory linkage, swap the stock links for the Soupy's adjustable links, reinstall the bolts, and then adjust to the desired ride height. The adjustment is made by simply turning the center hex adjuster. For motorcycles lowered by 1 inch or more, it is recommended to utilize Soupy's adjustable kickstand to maintain the proper lean angle when parked. Combo kits including both lowering links and an adjustable kickstand are available at a discounted price. For custom ride height needs beyond the standard adjustment range, direct contact with Soupy's Performance is advised.
