The IE 3" Catted Downpipe is a performance exhaust component designed for MQB platform Audi and VW AWD vehicles. It features 76mm (3 inch) tubing, replacing the restrictive 60mm factory tubing to improve exhaust flow. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel with TIG welded seams, this downpipe includes a high-flow 200-cell catalytic converter for enhanced performance while reducing emissions and odor.

The IE IEEXCI1 is a performance downpipe crafted from durable 304 stainless steel with precise TIG welded construction, ensuring longevity and reliability. It incorporates a high-flow 200-cell metal matrix catalytic converter, strategically placed near the turbo to minimize emissions and unpleasant smells while maximizing power output. Designed to unlock Stage 2 power levels, this downpipe replaces the restrictive factory tubing with 76mm (3-inch) piping, reducing back pressure and thereby decreasing turbo lag and increasing exhaust flow. IE engineers utilize advanced digital scanning and CAD software to guarantee a perfect fit, ensuring proper clearance and accurate mounting points. Installation of the IE IEEXCI1 should be completed by a professional, preferably on an auto lift, and requires Stage 2 ECU tuning. For optimal power gains, an IE air intake and IE FDS intercooler are also highly recommended. Integrated Engineering, LLC makes no warranties regarding emissions compliance. This specific downpipe system, IEEXCI1, is designed for Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T engines in front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicles only. All-wheel drive (AWD) Quattro or 4 Motion vehicles require a different mid-pipe section.
