The EBC Stage 29 Slotted Rotors and RP-1 Brake Kit is a high-performance braking system designed for extreme temperatures and track use. It features EBC’s RP-1 brake pads, which are made with unpainted, stainless steel backing plates and Nucap NRS hooks to prevent debonding. The pads are pure track materials with a moderately high friction level, capable of operating between 100°C and 750°C. When combined with the matching slotted rotors, the kit significantly improves brake performance and helps to negate the effects of "over-servo’d" brake systems found in vehicles like Audi RS cars and BMW M models, providing a smoother brake response. The slotted rotor design aids in clearing debris, gases, and brake dust to maintain consistent braking.
