The EBC S2KF1136 kit is a front brake upgrade package featuring EBC Greenstuff 2000 series brake pads and USR BlackDash Series sport slotted rotors. The Greenstuff pads are designed for street performance and daily driving, offering a significant reduction in brake dust (30% less than OEM) and quiet operation through their beveled edges and center-line slot. The pads are also green powder-coated for enhanced corrosion resistance and incorporate EBC's patented Brake-in™ coating for rapid bedding. EBC backs these pads with a 12-month/10,000-mile warranty. The accompanying USR BlackDash Series rotors are 1-piece, 308x25mm (approximately 12.1 inches) slotted rotors. Their angled slot pattern and vented center design contribute to lower noise, improved cooling, and reduced warping during aggressive driving or towing. The rotors feature a Black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish, ensuring durability and preventing rust in non-contact areas. They are unidirectional for optimized performance. This kit is suitable for sport compacts, muscle cars, premium sedans, and light trucks, but it is explicitly not recommended for track use. A 500-mile break-in period with moderate braking is advised to ensure optimal performance of the rotors.
