This kit includes EBC Ultimax Stock Replacement Brake Pads and EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors. The Ultimax pads are designed for daily driving, are OE hardware compatible, and feature high friction European specifications, shims, slots, and chamfers for quiet performance and long life. The RK Series rotors are precision-machined to OE factory dimensions with tight tolerances (less than 0.05 millimeters), made from high-quality "gray" iron with increased carbon content to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations. They are finished with a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive coating. EBC recommends this kit for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck/SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. A 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking is suggested.
