The Spelab DPF & Cat Delete Pipe with Muffler is a performance exhaust upgrade constructed from T-409 stainless steel. This pipe is designed to replace the restrictive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and catalytic converter on 2011-2015 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L LML Duramax diesel engine. By removing these factory components, the system aims to significantly reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), improve turbocharger spool-up, and enhance throttle response. The 4-inch diameter pipe features mandrel-bent construction to ensure maximum flow efficiency, allowing the diesel engine to breathe more freely. Installation is estimated to take around 1 hour with basic hand tools, though a lift can speed up the process. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included, though some factory hardware may need to be reused. Cutting may be required for shorter wheelbase configurations. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent check engine lights and diagnostic trouble codes, as emission-related sensors are removed.
