DPF/DEF Delete Kit

The SPELAB DPF/DEF Delete is a comprehensive kit engineered to unleash the power of your 2006-2007 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 equipped with the 5.9L Cummins diesel engine. This system eliminates restrictive factory exhaust components, including the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and catalytic converter, from the turbo outlet all the way back. This removal of exhaust backpressure is key to unlocking significant horsepower, torque, and improving fuel economy. At the core of this package is the H&S Mini Maxx V1 Tuner. This industry-leading device optimizes performance post-delete, allows for monitoring of critical engine metrics like EGT, boost, and fuel pressure, and can read/clear diagnostic trouble codes. The tuner provides custom tuning options, with readily available emission-compliant street tunes and off-road race tunes. Users can expect dramatic increases in horsepower, potentially over 150+ HP, and improved throttle response and turbo spool-up. Additionally, by eliminating the DPF's regeneration cycles, fuel mileage improvements of 3-5 MPG or more are commonly reported. The delete pipe itself is constructed from T409 stainless steel, featuring mandrel-bent 4'' or 5'' tubing for a precise fit and superior corrosion resistance. The kit includes the turbo-back delete pipe, the Mini Maxx V1 Tuner, an OBD connection box, an HDMI cable, power adapter, Micro SD to USB adapter, fuse tap, suction cup mount, USB cable, and all tune files preloaded. Compatibility is specific to 2006-2007 Dodge Ram 2500HD/3500HD 5.9L Diesel models; it does not fit Cab & Chassis variants. Models from 2004.5 onwards typically have a 4” turbo elbow outlet, making both 4” and 5” systems direct fits, with 5” systems recommended for heavy-duty use or enhanced sound. It is crucial to note that the removal of the DPF and catalytic converter is illegal for on-road use in all 50 states under the federal Clean Air Act and is intended for off-road and racing purposes only.
