DPF/SCR/EGR/DEF Delete Kit

The Rawtek DPF/SCR/EGR/DEF Delete Parts Kit is engineered to enhance the performance and reliability of your BMW X5 35d M57 (2009-2013) by removing the restrictive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, promoting a freer exhaust flow. The downpipe features a precision-machined turbo flange and 3.5" OD constant diameter tubing, reducing to 3" OD. The SCR delete midpipe is constructed from 304ss 16 gauge tube, fully TIG welded, and includes stock location hangers. An optional high flow Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) from GESi is available to reduce diesel smell. For enhanced reliability in severe environments and to help reduce under hood temperatures and noise, the downpipes are built twice as thick as standard market offerings, backed by a lifetime warranty. Installation is estimated at 10-12 hours, varying with experience and tools. When combined with the required software, this kit offers benefits such as up to 342 whp and 504 wtq, along with longer turbo life due to the elimination of the DPF. Features include 304 stainless steel construction, 3.5" OD 11 gauge downpipe tubing, 3" OD 16 gauge midpipe tubing, optional GESi DOC, included stainless steel hardware, and blocking off the EGR lower end cooler off the turbo (EGR intake is deleted via tune). No transmission reprogramming is required. This kit is specifically designed to fit North American spec BMW X5 35d models from 2009-2013 equipped with a DPF. Note that certain X5 models may require a single straight cut and the use of a provided band clamp if they lack a factory connection by the rear axle. Proper software tuning is required for the vehicle to run correctly without check engine lights or fault codes. The power gains listed reflect Malone stage 2 tuning software numbers; higher level tunes and supporting hardware can yield more power. The condition of the engine will also factor into generated power levels.
