The Deka Clutch Technology VW/Audi DQ381 DCT Upgrade is engineered to enhance the performance and durability of the Volkswagen Group's 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DQ381). This transmission is common in many VW and Audi models, often paired with both traditional gasoline and hybrid powertrains. When an engine's performance is increased, it's crucial to upgrade the transmission to match the added power. They meticulously replace OEM components prone to wear with CNC-machined billet elements, incorporate increased friction discs, and utilize craftsman assembly. This results in greater holding power and durability, reduced clutch slippage, and overall enhanced performance for your vehicle's driveline. The upgrade is available in different stages, each offering a higher torque rating to suit various build requirements, driver preferences, and budgets. The Stage 2 option is designed for OEM feel with a torque rating of 850 N·m and includes billet baskets and heavy-duty friction and steel discs. For track-prepared applications, the HD1100 offers a 1,100 N·m torque rating with a billet aluminum clutch cover and patented friction discs, while the HD1300 provides a 1,300 N·m torque rating with even more heavy-duty friction and steel discs for maximum performance.
