It is Snell SA2020-certified and broadly accepted by race organizing bodies and tracks through 2030. The Snell Foundation recommends replacement after five (5) years from the date of manufacture. It ships with one clear shield installed, is best for drag racing, has a 100% shield seal, and is frontal head restraint ready. It is pre-drilled for head and neck restraint devices. The Snell SA2020 testing requirements have changed, aligning more with the FIA 8859 Helmet Standard, with increased velocity for impact testing on the 2nd hit across all shell sizes.
