Drag Link and Tie Rod Kit

This trail-proven, bolt-on replacement for the factory steering system delivers enhanced precision, strength, and reliability, addressing common issues like bent tie rods, steering wheel re-centering, and vague steering feel, thus helping to prevent death wobble. Constructed with maximum-strength materials, the kit includes a drag link made from heavy-duty 1.5" x .250 wall USA-made DOM tubing and tie rods from heat-treated 4130 chromoly, bent for maximum articulation and clearance. A single-plane design eliminates unwanted movement and steering dead spots, while the double adjuster sleeve and pinch bolt assembly allow for easy on-vehicle setup and alignment adjustments. The components are finished with a two-stage abrasion-resistant powder coat for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with 100% bolt-on components requiring only basic hand tools and no drilling. The kit is compatible with stock knuckles, wheels, and tires in its base configuration. However, certain high-steer or drag-link-flip setups may require additional parts or adjustments. Professional installation is recommended due to the mechanical expertise required. The kit includes the drag link, tie rod, Synergy HD tie rod ends, and a double adjuster sleeve. Optional components like a stabilizer clamp and mounting stud are available separately. This steering kit is specifically designed for 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU and 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT models. For high-steer configurations, relocation of the drag link to the top of the knuckle requires 3-inch bump stop spacers, a front track bar relocation bracket, and wheels with proper backspacing. It is not recommended to flip the drag link for lifts less than 3 inches. The system requires a maximum wheel backspacing of 4.5 inches.
