Crafted from a combination of extruded and billet steel, these arms provide an economical path to achieving lower 60-foot times and enhanced stability during cornering. They are a direct bolt-on installation, with swaybar mounts strategically placed to ensure clearance for differential stud girdles and T-Rex fuel pumps. The key innovation in these control arms is Steeda's exclusive 3-piece bushing design. Unlike standard bushings, this system effectively eliminates suspension bind and unwanted vibration, ensuring your tires remain firmly planted for maximum traction. This design also offers less Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) compared to arms using spherical bearings, while the hard bushing centers precisely control the axle. The softer outer bushing edges prevent squeaking and binding, and crucially, these arms will not damage torque boxes like other solid-bushed alternatives. These control arms are direct replacements for 1999-2004 Mustang models. However, it is important to note that they do not fit 1999-2004 Cobra models equipped with IRS.
