This clutch is designed to handle an impressive 1500-1800+ RWHP/RWTQ, with the ability to manage up to ~2,000 rwhp/rwtq. The R Series units undergo significant modifications to the GM LT1 based pressure plate assembly to maximize lift/release and plate load, ensuring peak performance. While it can be driven on the street, users are warned about its aggressive nature, chatter, and pedal effort. It is recommended for any type of power adder in a racing application, provided the power output is within the clutch's rating. Numerous recorded 7-second quarter-mile passes have been achieved with this clutch. For optimal performance, the use of faceplated transmissions and upgraded clutch hydraulics is recommended. Proper installation and break-in procedures are crucial, and the clutch is expected to drive like a race car. The base package includes the clutch assembly, slave cylinder, sintered-based clutch discs, a 20lb billet steel flywheel, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and hardware. Optional components include different flywheel weights, release bearing supports, bleeder systems, and a warranty.
