The Global West Suspension TLC-88 is a set of drag racing upper control arms designed for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles. These control arms are constructed from lightweight 4130 chrome-molly tubing, reducing front-end weight by nearly 10 pounds. They feature fully assembled billet aluminum cross shafts, special Delrin bushings, and shortened bump stops.

The Global West Suspension TLC-88 drag racing upper control arms are engineered for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles, including Buick Century, Regal, Grand National; Chevrolet Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo; Oldsmobile Cutlass, 442 F-85; and Pontiac GTO, Lemans, Tempest, and Grand Prix. Constructed from lightweight 4130 chrome-molly, these tubular control arms offer a significant weight reduction of nearly 10 pounds compared to stock components. Each arm comes fully assembled with billet aluminum cross shafts, featuring steel sleeves to protect the aluminum from alignment shims and hardware. The control arms utilize special Delrin bushings, known for their durability and ability to handle extreme loads, and are equipped with grease fittings for lubrication. Shortened bump stops are included to prevent upper ball joint over-travel. Beyond weight savings, the TLC-88 control arms incorporate new geometry that significantly reduces bump steer, improving stability and reducing tire scrub. The design also provides an additional 6 degrees of positive caster, which is crucial for straight-line stability and reducing high-speed wander, surpassing the limited caster available with stock components. The toe change per inch of travel is reduced from approximately 3/8" to 1/8".
