Drag Version 5.68L Intake Manifold

The JMF Drag Version intake manifold is a high-performance solution for enthusiasts focused on maximum power. It is CAD-designed and fully CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-quality aluminum, utilizing a modular, bolt-together construction that requires no welding. The assembly features tapered runners and a 15-degree throttle body inlet angle to reduce turbulence and improve intercooler pipe clearance. It also includes an O-ringed head flange that eliminates the need for a traditional gasket and a 5-port vacuum distribution plate with 1/4" NPT threads. Installation requires specific considerations for the 1995-1999 2G DSM and Mitsubishi Evolution 1-3. The design is intended for vehicles with an eliminated EGR system and sits lower than the factory manifold, which may require modifications to upper intercooler pipes and coil pack mounts. It is not compatible with the OEM fuel filter or cruise control, and the 2G brake fluid canister must be either replaced or slightly relocated. A minimum 74mm throttle body is highly recommended, and users of aftermarket throttle bodies like the Accufab may need to modify the TPS sensor or throttle cable. Standard features include integrated NOS provisions, consisting of machined dimples on the runner section that allow for drilling and tapping as needed. This intake includes an adjustable throttle cable bracket and various hose barbs to facilitate setup.
