The Chevrolet DRCE 3 engine block is constructed from high-strength compacted graphite, a material chosen for its ability to reduce bore distortion compared to traditional cast iron. This CNC-machined 4-bolt block features a standard 9.250-inch deck height, with the option to be machined down to 9.000 inches if needed. The camshaft tunnel is designed to accept 60mm cam bearings, and the block has been rigorously tested to support over 1,400 horsepower, making it suitable for high-performance engine builds. This bare block is designed as a core component for custom engine assemblies. While it is referred to as semi-universal, specific fitment information for particular vehicles is not readily available.
