This harness complies with both US (FMVSS) and European (ECE) standards, making it street legal in all US states with mandatory seat belt laws. It features 2-inch wide shoulder belts and 2-inch lap belts with a pull-up mechanism. The harness integrates Takata's ASM® (Anti-Submarine) technology and comes equipped with bendable stainless steel mounting hardware. This design allows for installation directly to factory seat belt mounting points without compromising the function of existing seat belts, setting a new standard for aftermarket street legal belts. Installation of the DRIFT II Snap Harness requires careful consideration of seat type. It is designed exclusively for seats equipped with shoulder harness pass-throughs, such as those found in stock seats with adjustable headrests or in racing seats featuring dedicated openings. Critically, this harness must not be used with seats that have integrated headrests where shoulder belts would need to be routed externally around the headrest.
