The Takata Drift III Snap Seat Belt Harness is a 4-point, drift-oriented harness designed to provide significant binding force and stability. Manufactured in accordance with European ECE-R 16.04 and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 209, this unit serves as a legal seat belt option for street-legal vehicles in all US states where seat belt laws apply. Technically, this harness features 3-inch shoulder straps and 2-inch lap belts, both equipped with comfort padding for extended use. It utilizes a center push-button release buckle for quick egress. Each kit includes one harness assembly and four short eye bolts for snap-on mounting. The harness is compatible with both left and right seat positions; please order a quantity of two if securing both front seats. As a universal-fit component, this harness is intended for DIY installation, though specific mounting locations will vary by vehicle. Users should perform their own fitment research prior to purchase as specific hardware like mounting plates may be required depending on the chassis.
