TrakMotive Drive Shaft Assemblies transfer power from the transmission to the front or rear axles. They utilize Constant Velocity joints and single or double Cardan joints, operating effectively at varying angles and speeds. These assemblies are suitable for rear-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive vehicles. Features include 100% machine balancing to prevent vibration and noise, premium forged 3-layer sealed U-joints for maintenance-free operation and high torque capacity, and U-joint cups packed with premium lithium grease for superior lubrication and temperature resistance. A durable coating protects the shaft from corrosion, while TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) dust boots offer enhanced resistance to deformation, debris, oils, heat cycling, and ozone. A special low-friction sliding joint spline coating extends service life and eliminates clunking noises. Stainless steel band clamps provide improved resistance to deformation and stretching.
