The Genuine BMW drive shaft assembly is a direct replacement part for select BMW models equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. This component is crucial for transmitting power from the transmission to the rear wheels, and its proper functioning is indicated by the absence of vibrations, shuddering during acceleration, or unusual noises from the drivetrain. Constructed from durable steel and measuring 1512mm in length, this drive shaft comes with the center support bearing pre-installed, simplifying the installation process. This drive shaft is compatible with various BMW 323i, 325i, and 325is models from the mid-1990s. Specifically, it fits the 1992-1995 BMW 325i (Sedan and Convertible), the 1992-1995 BMW 325is (Coupe), and the 1998-1999 BMW 323i (Convertible). All listed models require a 5-speed manual transmission, RWD configuration, and a 2.5L 6-cylinder engine (M50, M50TU, or M52 variants).
