These OE bushings often fail prematurely, impacting driving feel and performance. This reduction in drivetrain deflection leads to improved throttle response and significantly less rear-end wheel hop. The bushings are constructed with a tough 95A Durometer Red Polyurethane and feature Black Anodized 6061-T6 aluminum sleeves for superior durability and resistance to chemicals, ozone, road salt, and wear. This construction ensures a longer lifespan compared to standard rubber bushings. The design process involved evaluating driveline loading conditions from driveshaft input torque and half shaft output torque under worst-case scenarios. The poly formulation, durometer, profile, and loaded surface area are optimized to minimize stress concentrations, ensuring the material remains within acceptable compressive strain limits. This rigorous engineering ensures the bushings can withstand high torque loads and harsh conditions, providing reliable performance whether on the track or the street. This set is compatible with a range of BMW models, including the 1-Series E82 (2008-2013) and various 3-Series E90/E91/E92/E93 models (2006-2013), covering specific variants like the 128i, 135i, 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328xi, 330i, 330xi, 335d, 335i, and 335is across different body styles (Coupe, Sedan, Wagon, Convertible).
