The Mazda G577-17-400 is a genuine OEM driven-speed gear set, also referred to as a speedometer sensor gear. As an official replacement part, it replaces previous part numbers including G560-17-400. This component is compatible with a range of Mazda models from the 1993-2003 era, including the 626, MX-6, Protege, and Protege 5. Please note that this part is strictly for manual transmission applications. Some configurations explicitly require the vehicle to be equipped without ABS and with 4-wheel disc brakes; check your specific vehicle trim and transmission configuration to ensure compatibility.
