Driver-Side Seat Bracket

The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a critical adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, ensuring a secure and proper installation. Engineered specifically for the VW Golf, Jetta, Rabbit (MK1 Chassis up to 1984), and Scirocco (1974-1980) models, this driver-side bracket is laser-cut from 3/16-inch thick steel and hand-welded in the USA for exceptional strength and longevity. The bracket is finished with a durable black powder coat. Planted offers flexibility with two bolt pattern options: Standard, which includes the Recaro slider pattern, and Alternate, which replaces the Recaro pattern with the Cobra & Scheel-Mann slider pattern. The bracket also provides extra space for custom hole drilling, accommodating less common slider patterns or allowing for direct seat or side-mount installation without sliders. Compatibility is extensive, supporting sliders from manufacturers such as Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, and more. It is important to note that replacing factory seats with aftermarket ones may trigger vehicle warning indicators due to the absence of integrated airbag, weight, or other sensors. The use of an electronic resistor to eliminate these indicators is at the end user's discretion and responsibility. Professional installation is recommended for optimal results and safety.
