The Planted SB300DR is a driver side seat bracket engineered for a precise fit in the 5th Generation Toyota Pickup and Hilux models from 1988 to 1995, specifically excluding bench seat configurations. This bracket serves as a crucial adapter, bridging the gap between your vehicle's floor and the mounting points of an aftermarket racing seat. Planted Technology creates these brackets by referencing the actual vehicle floor, ensuring a bolt-in, universal seat bracket solution. Constructed from heavy-duty 3/16 inch thick steel, the SB300DR is laser cut and hand-welded in the USA to guarantee weld penetration and exceptional strength. It features a durable black powder coat finish for longevity. Additional space is provided for drilling custom hole patterns or direct seat mounting when sliders are not used. The end-user is responsible for determining seat fitment before ordering. Additionally, replacing factory seats with aftermarket ones may trigger vehicle warning indicators due to the absence of sensors (airbag, weight, etc.) found in OEM seats; the use of an electronic resistor to bypass these indicators is up to the end-user to research and implement. Professional installation is recommended for this product.
