The Planted seat bracket is a precision-engineered adapter for the 2021-2024 Kia K5 (5th Generation/DL3 chassis) on the driver side. Constructed from 3/16-inch thick laser-cut steel and hand-welded for strength, this bracket serves as a direct-fit foundation when installing aftermarket seats where the vehicle's floor profile is not flat. It features pre-slotted mounting holes compatible with most major seat manufacturers, including Recaro, Sparco, Braum, and Corbeau, and offers both standard and alternate bolt patterns to accommodate various slider configurations. Installing an aftermarket seat may cause factory warning indicators to activate due to the removal of original sensors, such as airbag or weight sensors. Users may need to utilize an electronic resistor to address these issues, though it is the end user's responsibility to determine the appropriate component. Professional installation is highly recommended to ensure proper fitment and integration. Please note that seat dimensions vary, and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify that their chosen seat will fit within their specific vehicle interior.
