Description

This Dana 44 Crate Axle is a direct bolt-in solution for Jeep Wrangler JK front axles, allowing reuse of stock wheel ends. It features upgrades for enhanced durability, strength, and off-road performance, including thicker tubes, 1/4 inch steel brackets, chromoly axle shafts, and Spicer Life Series (SPL) 1350 u-joints with triple lip seals. The assembly includes a performance differential cover, Spicer performance gasket, genuine Spicer gearing, and optimized pinion angles for lifted vehicles. It boasts an increased Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) to accommodate suspension upgrades, bumpers, winches, and larger tires, along with an improved caster angle to reduce bump steer on lifted vehicles.
