Description

The Dana/Spicer Model 60 is an automotive axle manufactured by Dana Incorporated. It is characterized by its straight axle tubes, 10-bolt asymmetrical cover, and a "60" cast into the housing. The Dana Super 60 is an upgraded version of the Dana 60 axle, featuring larger and thicker diameter steel tubes (3.75 inches diameter and ½ inch thick) and a larger ring and pinion. Some versions also use larger ("1550") universal joints and net-formed spider gears for increased strength. This axle shaft is designed for heavy-duty applications.
