The Dana Spicer 10010742 Ultimate Dana 44 Crate Axle is a direct bolt-in solution for Jeep Wrangler JK models, allowing for the reuse of stock wheel ends. It features upgrades for enhanced durability, including thicker tubes, chromoly axle shafts, and Spicer Life Series (SPL) 1350 u-joints. It comes with a performance differential cover, Spicer performance gasket, genuine Spicer gearing, and optimized pinion angles for lifted vehicles. The increased Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) supports added weight from suspension upgrades, bumpers, winches, and larger tires, and an improved caster angle reduces bump steer on lifted vehicles.
