The Flowmaster 817413 American Thunder exhaust system is a header-back kit designed for 1959–1964 Chevrolet Impala models. This 2-1/2-inch dual exhaust system is constructed from 409S stainless steel with a natural finish, featuring a side-exit design intended for use before the rear tires. The system is engineered to accommodate offset inlet/offset outlet mufflers, providing a performance-oriented sound profile for classic muscle cars. Note that mufflers and exhaust tips are not included in this kit, and modifications to the intermediate pipes may be necessary depending on the specific header brand installed.
