The JXB Performance C7001A0-S is an upgraded driveshaft center support bearing carrier designed to replace the stock unit and address common issues. The OEM carrier uses thin rubber that allows the bearing to sag, leading to misaligned driveshafts and driveline slop, especially during shifts or throttle application. Over time, the stock bushing can crack and degrade, further exacerbating these problems. This upgraded carrier from JXB Performance utilizes more solid bushings to keep the driveshaft centered and aligned under all conditions. This results in a more direct and responsive driveline, with benefits reported by customers including firmer shifts, more instantaneous launches, and a reduction in vibrations. The two-part design clamps around the existing bearing, but the old carrier must be cut off, requiring a cutting tool for installation. The product is available with two bushing stiffness options: Street (Soft, Quieter) and Track (Hard, Louder). The Street bushings are recommended for most daily drivers as they offer better NVH absorption, while Track bushings provide maximum stiffness. It is compatible with Audi C7 A6, S6, RS6, A7, S7, and RS7 models.
