Driveshaft Safety Loop

The Stifflers Driveshaft Safety Loop provides critical protection for high-performance Mustangs by containing the driveshaft during a potential failure. Engineered to exceed NHRA specifications, this safety loop is constructed from a lightweight, powder-coated material that weighs nearly 2 pounds less than many alternative designs, ensuring durability without adding unnecessary weight. The system is designed to accommodate a variety of manual and automatic transmissions, including the T-56XL, T-5, TKO, TKX, TR-3550, TH-350, C4 (Case Fill), and Toploader. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling or welding, with the kit including all necessary mounting hardware. Notably, a partial removal of the torque arm boss is required for TR3550, TKO-500, and TKO-600 transmissions. Additionally, for Foxbody, SN95, or New Edge vehicles utilizing a Cobra Spec T-45, this model is not compatible and the Stifflers DSL-M01 must be used instead to ensure proper driveshaft tunnel clearance. A slight modification to the factory exhaust hanger plate is also necessary for 1994-1995 GTs and Cobras.
