Description

The Metco driveshaft safety loop is a protective component custom-designed to fit the floor pan of 1998-2011 Panther chassis vehicles, including the Mercury Marauder and the Ford Crown Victoria. Installation of this safety loop requires the driveshaft to be disconnected from the rear axle. Users must remove the four 12mm bolts securing the driveshaft to the pinion flange during the mounting process. For optimal effectiveness, the loop should be positioned within six inches of the front universal joint.
