Overview

The Dana SPL 250 Lite Driveshaft series is engineered for heavy-duty commercial trucks, reducing vibration and weight without compromising strength. They handle torque ratings of more than 18,000 lbs.-ft. and up to 25,000 Nm. These driveshafts are 25-35 pounds lighter than competitors, featuring a one-piece midship assembly with 10 fewer parts, which reduces service inventory and improves balance for smoother operation and reduced NVH. The design also supports lower numeric axle ratios for engine downspeeding.
