As transmission mounts degrade, they can cause noticeable clunking or banging noises during gear changes, excessive vibrations felt within the cabin, and potential engine or transmission misalignment, especially in front-wheel-drive configurations. This mount is specifically designed for use with the 02Q manual transmission and is not the same as the DSG variant. The Lemforder brand is recognized as a leading OE supplier for steering and chassis components, often matching the quality of genuine parts at a more accessible price point. This mount is compatible with a range of Audi and Volkswagen models including the A3, Beetle, GTI, Golf, and Jetta, primarily from the mid-2000s to mid-2010s, often specifying diesel engines and automatic dual-clutch transmissions, though manual variants are also supported for some models. It does not fit the 2017 Volkswagen Alltrack.
