The MX5things DRL harness is a plug-and-play module designed to keep your daytime running lights (DRLs) on even when the headlights are activated. This gives the vehicle the appearance of having fog lights. It is compatible with ND models featuring LED DRLs and offers two configurations: default (DRLs always at 100% brightness) or alternative (DRLs at 100% with headlights off, 50% with headlights on).

The MX5things DRL harness is a simple plug-and-play module engineered for Mazda Miata ND models equipped with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). This harness allows your DRLs to remain illuminated even after you turn on your headlights, creating the visual effect of fog lights. The module offers two distinct configurations, selectable via a jumper on the circuit board. The default setting keeps the DRLs at full 100% brightness regardless of headlight status. Alternatively, removing the jumper reduces the DRL brightness to 50% when the headlights are on, while maintaining 100% brightness when headlights are off. The jumper can be reinstalled if you wish to switch configurations. This DRL harness is specifically designed for the 2016-2023 and 2017-2023 RF Miata models. It is important to note that this product will NOT fit 2024 and newer Miatas, nor will it work with Sport trim levels that use incandescent bulb DRLs. The product comes with a 1-year warranty.
