These towers, part of Yakima's StreamLine Series, feature an advanced architecture that is sleek, strong, and quiet, with a matte black finish to complement modern vehicle styling. Installation is made straightforward with a pre-calibrated torque driver included, ensuring precise tightness. The BaseLine Towers utilize a unique Tri-axial DropHook™ clip adjustment that adapts to various roof shapes for a safe and secure hold. Additionally, the BarBed™ offers 12° of pitch adjustment to properly position and level crossbars on vehicles with curved or scalloped rooflines. These towers are compatible with Yakima JetStream, HD Bar, CoreBar, and RoundBar crossbars. However, a Yakima BaseClips (2 sets) and a pair of crossbars are required and sold separately. To use Yakima Roundbars, the RoundBar SL Adapter is necessary, and for HD Bars, the HD Bar SL Adapter is needed. The towers can be locked to your vehicle using the Yakima SKS system, which is sold separately. The maximum load rating is 165 lbs (75 kg), contingent on the vehicle and bar ratings.
