Dry Carbon Doors

The Anderson Composites DRY CARBON doors are meticulously hand-crafted for the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang, including all Ecoboost, GT, Shelby GT350, Shelby GT350R, and Shelby GT500 trims. Utilizing an autoclave process with pre-preg 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, these doors are designed to offer superior strength and stiffness with an exceptional carbon-to-resin ratio. Each door weighs approximately 11.8 lbs (shell only), a substantial reduction from the stock OE door's 45.6 lbs, contributing to improved performance and handling. The construction features a consistent weave pattern and a carbon fiber door bonded to a carbon fiber 'skeleton' (B side). Installation involves mounting with OE hardware (not included) and utilizes locations for most factory hardware. However, the product notes specify that mounting tabs may require modifications for correct fitment, and minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. Professional installation by an expert experienced with carbon fiber components is recommended. Furthermore, these doors are intended for off-road use only and are not street-legal. It is recommended to install a race sanction-approved roll cage with door bars when using these doors. The DRY carbon material does not have UV protection, so it is advised to apply an automotive-grade clear coat with UV inhibitors if the part will not be painted or wrapped.
