The GrimmSpeed Dry-Con Performance Panel Air Filter serves as a direct, drop-in replacement for the stock filter in the 2022-2024 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86. The installation process is straightforward, involving only the replacement of the existing filter. Utilizing Dry-Con media, this filter offers superior airflow to OEM paper elements while providing comparable or better filtration efficiency. Unlike oiled cotton gauze filters, the Dry-Con media is a dry filtration system that does not require re-oiling and prevents oil contamination of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. For maintenance, the filter can be easily cleaned by rinsing with water, allowing it to dry, and then reinstalling it, offering significantly longer service intervals than disposable paper filters. It is washable and reusable, making it a sustainable and cost-effective choice for performance enhancement. The filter is explicitly designed for the 2022-2024 model years of the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86, fitting the FA24 engine. According to GrimmSpeed's testing, this filter can provide gains of up to +6 HP and +9 WTQ. Importantly, no tune is required for installation or operation.
