The GrimmSpeed DRY-CON Panel Filter is engineered as a direct OE replacement for your stock airbox, offering a simple installation for increased performance. This filter utilizes a dry-construction media composed of two synthetic material layers, providing excellent flow characteristics similar to oiled media but without the maintenance hassle of re-oiling. It achieves 62% better flow than OEM filters, contributing to increased torque and horsepower gains, and maintains 99.1% filtration efficiency to protect your engine. Designed for easy maintenance, the DRY-CON filter is serviceable and reusable, with a recommended service interval of up to 20,000 miles. GrimmSpeed conducted extensive testing, including pressure drop and filtration efficiency tests using SAE-5011 OEM Air Filter Standards, and dyno testing on a 2020 STI. The dyno results showed an average gain of 9 ft-lbs of torque and 6 wheel horsepower from 5400rpm to redline. This filter requires no engine tuning for installation and is built with heavy-duty construction, backed by a 1-year warranty. It is 100% Made in the USA. Fitment includes: 1993-07 Subaru Impreza, 2002-07 Subaru WRX, 2004-07 Subaru STI, 2003-08 Subaru Forester, 1990-04 Subaru Legacy*, and 1995-04 Subaru Outback*.
