The AEM DryFlow Pre-Filter Wrap (1-4001) is designed to offer an extra layer of defense for your AEM DryFlow Air Filter, helping to prevent moisture, dirt, and road debris from reaching the main filter element. This is particularly beneficial for performance intake systems where the filter is positioned low in the fender well, making it susceptible to splashes and contaminants. Constructed from a durable micro-screen material, this wrap is pretreated with a proprietary hydrophobic process. This treatment actively repels water and mud, preventing them from saturating the air filter. The wrap features specific dimensions: a 6-inch base diameter, a 5.25-inch top diameter, and a height of 9 inches. These measurements ensure a snug and secure fit on compatible AEM DryFlow air filters, as well as other aftermarket filters with similar dimensions that are routed towards the fender lining or other exposed areas.
