Description

The AEM 22-407P Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is designed to be an affordable and easy upgrade for select Honda Accord models, boosting engine horsepower and torque. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. Air enters through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, known for its outstanding airflow, filtration, and performance. The filter media is oil-free and can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed, depending on driving conditions. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum and features a durable, chrome-like finish. The AEM 22-407P is engineered to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the engine breather hose and any vacuum lines. Installation is straightforward with commonly available tools. This air intake system is dyno-tested to fit specific Honda Accord models from 1990-1993, including DX, LX, and EX submodels with 2.2L 4-cylinder engines. It is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Note that some AEM air intakes may not be legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards.
