They provide improved cold performance, reduced disc wear and noise, and ensure a consistent braking torque that is a linear response to pedal pressure. Ferodo Racing pads incorporate a thermal under-layer between the backing plate and friction material, which reduces the caliper's operating temperature by up to 80°C, significantly lowering the risk of brake fluid boiling and maintaining a firm pedal feel. These pads are suitable for a wide range of BMW models, including the 3 Series (E36, E46), 3 Coupe (E46), 3 Touring (E46), Z3, and Z4 (E85).
