Developed by BC Racing, this set provides a well-tuned combination of spring rates, adjustable ride height, top mount design, and damping characteristics. Specifically for the Chevrolet Cruze J300 models from 2009 to 2015, these coilovers are optimized for primarily road use. The DS Series features a digressive piston design, which BC Racing states offers increased damping force at low piston velocities while maintaining a linear feel at higher velocities. This technology contributes to a more controlled and responsive suspension. The spring rates for this specific kit are 6 kg/mm for the front and 3.5 kg/mm for the rear, aiming for a sporty yet comfortable ride that remains compliant during daily driving and long trips.
