Description

The Viper DS4VP is a comprehensive remote start and security system featuring integrated Bluetooth technology for smartphone-based vehicle control. It allows users to start, lock, or unlock their vehicle from a distance of up to 150 feet and includes a siren to deter criminal activity, with alerts sent via push notifications, text, or email. The system can also decipher Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) to help monitor vehicle health. Installation requires a professional under-the-dash mounting. The system operates using the Viper SmartStart app (version 4.0 or newer). While Bluetooth provides local control, users can optionally pair the module with a Viper SmartStart Pro or Viper Connect device to enable cellular 4G LTE/3G connectivity for global range in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Included in the package are the DS4V system module, a temperature sensor, universal wiring harnesses, and a quick reference guide.
