The BAR-TEK DSG DQ500 Transmission upgrade Oil Cooler Kit is engineered to safeguard your high-performance DSG vehicles from the detrimental effects of excessive oil temperatures. When high torques are applied, the gearbox experiences increased load, leading to elevated oil temperatures and the potential engagement of an emergency mode, rendering the vehicle undrivable until it cools down. This is an unacceptable scenario, especially in competitive racing environments. This comprehensive kit features a 13-row oil cooler, strategically integrated into the front of your vehicle to leverage airflow for optimal cooling. Its design is specifically tailored to protect your gearbox from failure, even when subjected to significant power increases beyond standard chip tuning. This oil cooler kit is compatible with all DSG DQ500 transmissions. Specific fitment includes a wide range of Audi A3/S3/RS3 models (8P, 8PA, 8V, 8Y) from 2003 to present, Audi Q3/RS Q3 (8U, F3) from 2011 to 2025, and Audi TT/TTS/TT RS (8J, FV/8S) from 2006 to present, all equipped with various iterations of the 2.5 TFSI engine. It also fits the Cupra Formentor (Typ VZ) from 2020 onwards with the 2.5 TFSI (EA855 evo) engine.
