The Racingline Performance DSG Oil Cooler System is a complete bolt-on upgrade designed to manage heat in MQB platform cars equipped with the 6-speed DQ250 transmission. Under hard driving, the factory oil/water cooler can be overwhelmed, leading to oil degradation, torque reduction, and slower shifts. This kit adds a thermostatically controlled air/oil cooler mounted at the front of the car to help maintain optimal gearbox temperatures.

Protecting your DSG gearbox oil from excessive heat is crucial, especially during demanding driving conditions, track use, towing, or in hot climates. The Racingline Performance DSG Oil Cooler System is engineered for MQB platform vehicles with the 6-speed DQ250 transmission to address this. It supplements the factory oil/water cooler, which can become overwhelmed, by adding a thermostatically controlled air/oil cooler. This unit is strategically mounted at the front of the vehicle to capture cool airflow. When oil temperatures exceed the normal operating range, the integrated thermostat opens, routing the oil through a 10-row cooler core. This process can reduce oil temperatures by approximately 15 to 20°C, leading to more consistent shifting, better clutch and fluid protection, and reduced heat transfer to the coolant system. The kit includes a billet CNC thermostatic sandwich adaptor block, a replacement low-profile factory oil/water cooler, an AN10 10-row oil/air cooler core, AN10 210 series nylon braided feed and return lines, and specific mounting brackets. A full fitting kit with all necessary hardware is also provided. This system is specifically designed for MQB platform vehicles equipped with the 6-speed DQ250 DSG transmission. It is not compatible with the 7-speed DQ381 or DQ500 gearboxes. It is recommended to use the vehicle lookup tool or check the provided fitment list to confirm compatibility with your exact model before ordering.
