DSG Transmission Tune

The Integrated Engineering DSG Tune is a performance software upgrade for Audi vehicles equipped with the 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. This tune is flashed directly through the OBD-II port, allowing for installation in your driveway or at an IE software dealer. The tune offers higher shift points, ensuring you utilize the full powerband of your supercharged 3.0T engine without the DSG interfering with early shifts. Drive mapping has been reworked to provide a more enthusiast-friendly experience, shifting at slightly higher RPMs to eliminate vibration and the feeling of lugging the engine. The downshifting aspect is also improved for quicker power delivery. Technical enhancements include increased clutch pressure, allowing the transmission to hold more torque without accelerated wear, leading to significantly increased acceleration and more aggressive launches. Take-off lag, common in stock transmissions, is reduced through reworked clutch engagement. Additionally, the tune provides multiple customizable launch RPMs, with options for 3400, 3600, 3800, and 4000 RPM, to suit your specific setup. This tune is compatible with Audi S4 models from 2008-2016 (B8 & B8.5) and S5 Coupe/Cabriolet models from 2009-2016, all equipped with the 3.0T supercharged engine and the 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. It is not compatible with manual 6-speed transmissions. Some early model B8 DSG TCUs and certain replacement Mechatronics units (including TCU codes 8K1927156AC and 8K1927156AD) cannot have launch control added, though other DSG tune features will function normally. A separate IE Powerlink tool is recommended for checking TCU codes and installing future updates. For optimal performance, the IE DSG Tune was developed alongside IE ECU Tunes. Running both will unlock the full potential of your 3.0T engine and transmission, making it ideal for use with IE's Stage 1, dual pulley, and throttle upgrades.
