The Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Carbon Fiber Driveshaft for the 2008-2014 Subaru WRX 5-Speed with R160 Rear Differential is a high-performance upgrade that replaces the factory 2-piece driveshaft. This 1-piece carbon fiber driveshaft is approximately half the weight of the factory unit, features larger, replaceable u-joints, and is rated to handle about 850WHP and 180 MPH. The tubing is custom wound with a high modulus fiber for strength while maintaining a small enough diameter for clearance. It's designed to be a direct fit, allowing all factory shields, plates, and covers to be used without alteration. The ends are constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum. By reducing weight and eliminating the hanger bearing, the car will feel more responsive and exhibit less noise.
