DSX Auxiliary Fuel Pump Kit

The DSX Auxiliary Fuel Pump Kit offers a straightforward and cost-effective way to enhance your vehicle's fuel delivery system. Instead, it utilizes an external pump that integrates with the existing feed line, working in tandem with the factory fuel pressure control module. This integration ensures the Engine Control Module (ECM) accurately monitors fuel pressure, even when the auxiliary pump is active, providing a significant boost in both pressure and flow. At the core of this system is a proprietary DSX Tuning PnP controller that interfaces with the MAP sensor. This innovative design eliminates the need for vacuum line tapping or Hobbs switches, as the controller intelligently uses the MAP sensor's electrical signal to activate the pump. The included harness simplifies installation with minimal wiring connections. The pump is triggered at 8psi (157kPa) and deactivates when pressure drops below 6psi (144kPa). While using 8AN size, they incorporate 6AN connections for optimal flow through the fittings. DSX Tuning emphasizes purpose-built components, including a custom 74-micron filter and a one-piece billet push-connect tee fitting, setting this kit apart from repurposed parts. All necessary mounting hardware is supplied for under-vehicle installation, making it a complete kit. The system also includes a DSX-designed and manufactured push-connect tee for simplified installation and reduced leak points. Drilling the fuel tank is required, with an optional drill and tap tool available. Installation is estimated at approximately two hours and can be performed on jack stands, with a recommendation to have a low fuel level in the tank prior to installation. DSX manufactured components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. The pumps themselves carry a 90-day warranty from the date of shipment.
