The Vintco Yamaha DT175 MX175 1979-81 Piston Kit is a standard-bore piston kit designed to keep vintage 2-stroke motorcycles running. Made with modern materials and manufacturing techniques, it aims for OEM fitment and performance.

This kit includes the piston, rings, pin, and clips for an easier back-on-track installation. A wrist pin bearing is available separately, and other size options may also be available.

Utilizing modern materials and advanced manufacturing processes, Vintco aims to deliver a fit and performance that meets or exceeds original equipment specifications. This comprehensive piston kit comes with all the essential components for a top-end rebuild, including the piston itself, piston rings, a wrist pin, and securing clips. The piston is forged and manufactured in Germany, featuring an MoS2 coating for effective break-in. The kit is for a standard bore size, with a specified clearance of 0.06mm at 65.94mm. A separate purchase is required for the wrist pin bearing, and additional sizing options are available to accommodate various engine needs. This Vintco piston kit is specifically designed for the 1979, 1980, and 1981 model years of the Yamaha DT175 and MX175 motorcycles. It is a direct replacement part intended to help owners maintain their vintage machines.
